Hotels that were selected as APEX Award winners at the Choice Hotels regional conference on Oct. 20, 2008 (Jacksonville, FL) are ranked among the top 10% of Choice Hotels. The hotels awarded for Best Design/Renovation also needed to meet strict criteria including superb guests satisfaction scores and quality assurance scores.
